We put Alex in his pool for the first time this month in Grandma & Grandpa Mortensen's back yard. He wasn't too sure about it at first because the water was cold, but once his body aclimatized he seemed fine.
It was still too cold for him to splash and he got pretty mad at me when I did.
Pouring the water 
into the pool around him was okay as long as it was closely supervised and it didn't actually
touch him. All in all, Alex had a lot of fun playing in the pool with his toys.
He was even in a humor to be cutsie.
